I hold a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Eastern Michigan University and a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor.

I have been a Licensed Social Worker in the state of Michigan for the past 20 years.  I currently hold a license in both clinical and macro practice.  I am also a member of the National Association of Social Workers.

My work experiences include foster care and adoptions, mental health counseling, alcohol and drug prevention and school social work.  These work experiences across multiple environments have given me perspective on a variety of life challenges and changes.  Some of these include Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorders, infertility, pregnancy loss, divorce, sexuality, gender expression, coping skills, trauma, grief, loss, school issues, self-harm, trauma and general behavioral concerns.  I have worked with all ages from toddlers to adults.  I have worked with individuals, couples and families.  I am excited to learn all about you and how I can support you.  I have a growth mindset and I know that even life's challenges and changes can lead you to being your best self or family.
